Communityminds is a blog designed to introduce the ideas, projects, and initiatives of individuals and organizations that are approaching the world’s complicated problems with practical and innovative solutions. This blog was created for the “solutions community”, or the community of those who have made it their life’s mission to address, and ultimately solve some of the world’s most pressing issues. It is also a blog that will hopefully inspire a new generation of change agents. A generation that will not be confined by conventional thinking, and utilize in the most productive way all of their social, economic, or intellectual resources for the good of the whole. More than any other time in history, the walls that once separated different world communities are not as strong, or in some cases even visible. Today we are now connected in ways unimaginable just a decade ago. This transformation will eventually lead to a world that is truly interconnected. A world where no one is isolated, or insulated from disease, economic downfalls, or civil unrest. A world that will rely heavily on forward thinking individuals and results driven organizations for real solutions. The aim of this blog is to shed light, and give a voice to these individuals and organization. More importantly however, this blog aims to shed light on and give a voice to their efforts and ideas.
